Well, in case you didn't know, today's my 18th birthday... I don't feel any different though. Just another day~.

Anyways, let me back up a day first. My "twin" was going to come over yesterday so we could work on costumes; but we were going to switch gears real quick and start on shoes instead of continuing with wigs. The problem? I hadn't bought my base shoes yet. >.>
So we ran out to the store real quick to see what I could find in the nearest Payless. I found the right style for Lucas, but they didn't have them in red. I'll either have to order those on-line or check a different Payless for 'um. I DID find a pair of shoes for Rin, but I'll have to check to make sure they're close enough to what my twin picked up for Len before we go painting the bottom half yellow.

Well, my "twin" ended up not being able to come over, which was just as well, I suppose, since I don't have my Lucas shoes yet, and it'd be really nice if we could do it all in one go. It was a shame though, 'cause we were going to go shopping today and see about maybe picking up some fabric, 'cause I think there was a sale at Joann's. Ah, well. Maybe next time.

Nothing major happened today. Just a nice, relaxing birthday. I got lots of birthday wishes from relatives, kids on Facebook (some of them, I don't even really know), and a few others~. The first person to wish me happy birthday was a friend of mine who jumped the gun by about 12 hours, hahaha~. The first person to wish me happy birthday -Today- surprised the crap out of me though, 'cause I really didn't think he'd remember until cake was involved. I'd gotten out of the shower about 5 minutes after midnight so I was walkin’ down the hall in my pajamas when my brother wished me happy birthday as he was coming up the stairs. It was so weird. At first I suspected that he'd just seen one of those "birthday alert" things on Facebook or whatever, but he swears he just remembered it on his own. I'm still a little suspicious, but it was very sweet of him none-the-less. ^^

A few relatives came over for a short little party. It was supposed to be a combined party for me and my older cousin, like it is every year, but my cousin couldn't make it. I... I think this is the first relative-attended birthday party I've ever had to myself... As a side note, my dad was humming Eight Melodies at the party. It pretty much made my day. It was a nice little party though. 'Cept I really do NOT get along very well with my youngest cousin. I guess I'm just not very good with the really young childrens... =/
Ah, well. Anyways, I got a few little gifts: some Christmas socks, some markers, and a small bag. But then I also got a Flip Camcorder! I'm so freaking happy! Now my friends and I can more readily record informal skits and whatnot! Heeee! I'm so excited! I can’t wait to try it out! On that note, my twin and I are vaguely planning the possibility of reenacting the events of the first Mother game in sort of a movie kinda dealie. Nothing's written in stone yet, but we definitely have some plans/ideas, so hopefully something good will come from this.
(Hmm... I wonder if I should be Ninten or Ana...)

In other news, it's supposed to snow tonight. Like, SNOWSTORM snow. (Actually, my brother said it's just starting to snow now. Hooray!) I'm really, really excited! I so wanna make a snow sculpture (or at least attempt to make one). I'd like to make something Mother-themed and enter it into the Holiday Funfest on Starmen.net, but I haven't seen any advertisement for the funfest yet. They are having one this year, aren't they? It’d be a huge bummer if they didn’t ‘cause I have quite a few ideas in mind for entries… Anyways~.

My friend was going to hold a huge party tomorrow night for all of our friends to gather together during this break since we pretty much haven't seen anyone all semester. I think the snow might force us to postpone these plans, but that's not too TOO terrible. There was going to be a gingerbread house competition, and I need to pick up some pretzels first so I can make a fence and that kinda stuff. I totally have a plan for my gingerbread house, and it is SO gonna rock! I’ll post pictures of stuff if/whenever we get around to making all this stuff up~.

So all in all, today was a pretty exciting day.

P.S. Once I finish up with my math work, I’ll be done with school for the semester! I SOOO can’t wait! No crying until the end, ya? ^^

HOLY FRICK, GUYS. THE SKY IS RED. IT'S FREAKING R-E-D, RED. IT LOOKS AWESOME, BUT NONE OF MY RECORDING DEVICES WORK WELL ENOUGH IN THE DARK TO SEE IT!
